We pass by this colombian restaurant and we decided to give it a try.The place is very charming got colombian decore too.The hostess was very friendly she explain to us about the menu since it was the first time were trying colombian food.I had the house salad with salsa sauce with Toston(flatten fried plantain) with grilled breast chicken. Loved it ! Was alot !My husband ordered the Bandeja paisa the pork was too greasy for him the rest was good. And don't forget the drinks Postbon soda (apple flavor).Very welcoming place ! I will come back to try the Empanadas.

One of my favourite Columbian restaurants in the Markham area. They have many different columbian classics. The one I tried today was the Toston with Pulled Chicken and a side of Salad. The Toston is a fried plantain smashed and then fried again and then added with pulled chicken on top. Typically you eat this how you would eat a pizza. They do ask you if you want some salsa on top. I would truly recommend it as it adds a kick to it.

It's Colombia not Columbia! Haha I absolutely loved the vibe in this cute little restaurant! The owner is so pleasant to talk too about her delicious menu and experiences. The food..... THE FOOOOODDDD is absolutely what your looking for when you think Colombian. Toston with a steak, divine soup for the soul and of course the salsa and empanadas!! I could eat here everyday! The portions are great! The flavors are savory! Must try!

First time trying toston the last summer and loved it!How the people that worked there described it is colombian pizza. Which was perfect as the primary protein was mixed and placed on a deep fried plantainSuper tasty and have gone back a couple times since. The steak the second time was a little dry, but still had nice flavour to itAlso had the empanadas and overall I feel it’s quite an authentic Colombian spot, even thought I don’t have anything g to compare it to. But even the people that open this spot is speaking Spanish and is of Latin descent, so that’s already a good sign!People working there are super nice and explained everything to me the first time and my wife the second time.Great job overall!Follow me on IG @thirst_and_taste for better pics, vids and more amazing content!

This is a family run business with warmest service and yummy food. It almost felt as if I was invited into their home and served these amazing dishes. Their toston was a deep fried plantain with different toppings, they have vegetarian options too! I can’t wait to try their arepas next time! Try this place out!

I visited The Toston with friends today for lunch. The owners were so sweet and welcoming. We felt like we were away on vacation, eating at a local restaurant. They explained the menu to us and made recommendations. I ordered the Pulled Beef Toston (combo #2!), and my friends ordered the Bandeja Paisa. We also tried the beef empanadas. Sooooo good! The portions are big, and the food is INCREDIBLE! If you're looking for delicious, flavourful, authentic food that's absolutely satisfying - please check this place out!

Loved this place. I was craving a sancocho soup and it was better that I expected. I ordered the Sancocho de Res (beef) and I enjoyed it a lot. Cristina is a great host. I highly recommend this place if you want to try authentic Colombian cuisine. Delicious!

We didn't even have our food yet but had to rate . Service is top notch without a doubt. Love the introduction and story behind their store and the free coffee was next level. Same as Starbucks

First time trying Colombian food! It was amazing! We were greeted warmly as soon as we entered - and the food was explained to us which made us feel very welcomed and helped us with choosing our food… very hospitable and the ambiance felt very authentic. We tried local drinks as well suggested by the hostess. All in all, an amazing experience! Definitely recommend. Bought some local chocolates for dessert, to go. So good! Thank you!
